OREGON IS OUR HOME

When communities come out together in visible solidarity, troops often retreat. But it’s important that it be a communityeffort. So one of the best ways to prepare, both now and once National Guard rollouts begin, is to ensure you’re connected within your own neighborhood. Check in with your neighbors, and make sure you’re looped in on rapid response efforts in your city.

Join Protect Oregon at local meet‑ups to learn about non‑violent ways to fight back with organizing, people power and joy over the coming months—and build the America we all deserve:

We also know that, in blue states/cities, elected officials can actually do a lot to protect their residents. Unlike D.C., the rest of the target cities have more power and authority over their government functions, and in some cases, state-level protections. Go here to learn about all the actions you can take.

On Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 @ 7pm join Consolidated Oregon Indivisible Network to hear from ACLU Oregon’s Executive Director, Sandy Chung, and Oregon’s 32nd District Representative Cyrus Javadi. Let’s hear together how to make sense of current events in Oregon and explore the best strategies for action. To Our Troops

When faced with a potentially unlawful order, the balancing act faced by military personnel can be daunting. To disobey a lawful order could lead to criminal punishment, but so could obeying an order later determined to be patently unlawful. Are you in the military and unsure about the legality of the orders you might be receiving? The Orders Project can answer your questions.

Why Volunteering Is So Important

Ensuring that the No Kings rally is a joyful and inspiring event is vitally important. There are many who feel afraid and alone right now. Tyrants always try to isolate people to induce hopelessness and despair. But because courage is contagious, our fellow Portlanders will see that they are not alone. This is how we build that connection and camaraderie we all need in order to grow stronger. Help us bring this message of strength and community to everyone!

Volunteer at No Kings 10/18A Great Variety of Roles From walking around with signs displaying QR codes, to setting up chairs, to street theater, we need you! If you are a confident cyclist, we can use your skills on the corking team. Go here to see all volunteer roles.
