Dear OSTPDX Members,
Oregonians are very fortunate to have the ability to vote from the safety of our homes for the May 19th primary election sobe sure to get your primary ballot in the mail by Thursday, May 14th. After that date, you mayfind official ballot drop boxes here. We haveelection informationon our website and the City Club of Portland’s 2020 Election Coverage is a fantastic resource that includesrecorded candidate debates and information on ballot measures.
If you’ve voted and are looking to do more before the primary, please consider volunteering to support measure 26-210. Below you’ll find details on how to do so as well information on a town hall with Senator Merkley, letter writing events and more!
Announcements Action to take this week Sign up for a HereTogether virtual phone bank to support ballot measure 26-210!
Help get the vote out for the HereTogether homeless services measure. Phone banks are happeningdaily through May 18 to get the word out to voters about how important a Yes on 26-210 vote is! You can do this from the comfort of your own home so long as you have an internet connection and a phone.
With opponents using robocalls and mass texts to spread their lies, our key tool is reaching voters with real conversations. We've reached hundreds of voters as they're voting and have encouraged many to vote yes as they filled out their ballots!

Our Tuesday ask: We may be in the same storm but we are not in the same boat - especially not in the same boat as our black and brown brothers and sisters. They are dying and losing jobs more in this pandemic. The next covid 19 package must be racial just with money that goes directly to the people and states making sure everyone is helped, not just Trump and his rich friends. The action will be posted on Tuesday at 6:00 AM here:indivisibleor.org/actions
