President Biden, VP Harris, and Congressional Democrats are leading the way with the THRIVE agenda, a series of initiatives anchored in racial, economic, and gender justice. Following the Congressional recess, time is now of the essence. Congress must pass the For the People Act (S1), the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (HR4), the Washington D.C Admission Act (HR 51), the American Recovery Act, and the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act. Free Virtual Workshop Voting Rights & Voter Suppression Donna L Cohen, creator of Civics for Adults, is offering a free virtual workshop this Wednesday, April 7, from 6:30-8:00pm. The workshop will focus on voting rights and voter suppression and trace events of the 2020 election that led up to January 6. It will be a powerful presentation that includes lots of data and commentary from bipartisan sources. Open to all. Register here. Have You Seen A4D’s New Website?
