One Small Thing
As the Election Approaches
The Oregon Secretary of State Race is a Toss-Up!
Senator Shemia Fagan is in a tough race for Secretary of State. According to her campaign, some Democrats don’t see the position as partisan and are comfortable voting for either candidate, making the race a toss-up. Unfortunately, they don’t realize that 2021 will bring redistricting and if the legislature fails to reach consensus, it falls to the Secretary of State to choose the new electoral districts. Senator Fagan’s biggest need right now is funding to keep a strong presence on TV and digital platforms. She needs to let Oregonians know there’s a big difference between her and her opponent Kim Thatcher, a Trump supporter funded by the Oregon Firearms Federation and Timber Unity. Help Senator Fagan raise the resources she needs to reach voters. Donate now.

Huge Fundraising Success
Thanks to everyone who showed up and/or contributed to our successful fundraiser for Representative Anna Williams of Hood River and Debbie Boothe Schmidt of the North Coast. We exceeded our goal and raised nearly $13,000 for these worthy candidates. And 38 of you showed up on Zoom for the event. Thank you! Both candidates are in tight races. If you are looking for something meaningful to do, they could use help phone banking to get out every last vote. Plus, of course, they can always use more funds for a last media push.
