Join Us for our 1st Monthly Meeting Tomorrow Tuesday, January 26, 5:00pm
The first meeting of Act for Democracy, the merger between One Small Thing PDX and Indivisible97201, takes place tomorrow via Zoom, Tuesday, January 26, from 5:00-6:30pm. Our invited speaker is Indivisible Senior Regional Organizing Manager, Tricia Sauer. Tricia will inspire us with a presentation about Indivisible’s plans for 2021, both statewide and nationally. There will also be time to meet and chat with our new friends in activism via breakout groups. To register, please use this link. Act for Democracy Activist Reading Group
The next meeting of the Act for Democracy Activist Reading Group will take place on Thursday, February 11, from 7:00-8:30pm. The activist reading group has been a well-loved feature of One Small Thing PDX for many years. Everyone is welcomed to join in. For February’s meeting, the group will discuss How the South Won the Civil War: Oligarchy, Democracy, and the Continuing Fight for the Soul of America by Heather Cox Richardson, author of the popular newsletter Letters from an American.
