A4D Celebrates Come to the Party!
Instead of our regular July monthly meeting, we’ll be gathering in person to mingle, raise a glass together to toast the merger of Indivisible 97201 and One Small Thing PDX to create Act for Democracy, and to celebrate a year of progressive activism together, with all the wins and sometime losses that committed citizen engagement entails. We sincerely hope you will join the festivities. Invitations have gone out to special guests, which we’ll announce as soon as we receive confirmation of their attendance. There’ll be plenty of tasty finger food and cool beverages for a summer aperitivo. The party will take place in Paulette Wittwer’s lovely outdoor garden at 2316 NE Tillamook on Tuesday, July 27 from 5:00-7:00pm. In addition to nearby street parking, we’re arranging additional parking within a block of Paulette’s house (details in next week’s newsletter). Hope to see you there!
