Priming for the primary:

When it comes to making government more transparent and fair elections more accessible, nothing matters more than your vote for Oregon's Secretary of State. With Oregon about to undergo her once-every-ten-years process of drawing new congressional district lines, stakes are especially high for 2020.

All three candidates on a single stage.

No other elected official holds more influence on our voting laws than Oregon's Secretary of State. And this forum gives you a unique opportunity to hear from all three primary candidates while on the same stage. Moderated by former Oregon Secretary of State Phil Keisling, you’ll gain an in-person perspective from who’s running and why. With a Democratic primary field that includes Oregon State Senator Mark Hass, Jamie McLeod-Skinner, and Cameron Smith, it’s their chance to earn your vote. The forum will also allow plenty of time for questions from all who attend.

Let's get energized!

The forum is part of the 2020 Political Action Fair, an event hosted by a community of volunteers who support Democratic candidates and aim to energize voters for 2020. Grassroots groups include Nasty Women Get Shit Done, Indivisible Oregon, Indivisible 97201, Indivisible Hillsboro, and One Small Thing PDX. Together, we can help usher in a more just, equitable, and sustainable future in Oregon. We look forward to meeting you!

GET INFORMED, STAY ENGAGED!

Doors open at 1:40 pm, event starts at 2:00 pm.

We are committed to creating a positive and accessible experience for all attendees. Please indicate on the RSVP form if you or a member of your party requires accommodation.
