Indivisible Oregon Phone Banks Are Underway
Join a group of Indivisible Oregon’s dedicated phone bankers. For Reclaim the Vote phone banks, Indivisible Oregon is partnering with the Center for Common Ground to make calls to Black and Brown communities in states that suppress the vote. These non-partisan calls are intended to help people navigate what can be a challenging voting process where they live. The calls take place Mondays. To sign up for the next call on September 5 at noon, go here. Closer to home, phone banks are also being held for Jamie McLeod Skinner running for Congress in District 5, which is one of the most competitive seats in the nation and critical for maintaining the House majority. Jamie's MAGA extremist opponent still refuses to acknowledge that Biden won the 202 election. These phone banks take place on Wednesdays, from 5:00 to 7:00. To sign up for August 31 and later phone banks, follow this link.
Indivisible Tuesdays Are In-Person Again
If you’ve been longing to meet face-to-face, wait no longer. Beginning September 6, Indivisible Oregon’s bimonthly Indivisible Tuesday events with staffers of Senator Wyden and Representative Blumenauer will return to meeting in person. The format will be much as it was before the pandemic, including squad calls, announcements, and discussion with staff members about the progress of priority issues. To attend on Tuesday, September 6, register here. And bring along a friend!
